These past five weeks, my friends and I had a very hilarious teaching practice in an Elementary School. This project was acomplished in order to fulfill our course on English for Young Learner. We were asked to look out the National Curriculum, then transfer it into syllabus for five meeting and make the lesson plan from it.
This activity was so hilarious. I have been teaching kids since one and a half year ago, but to teach in a public elementary school is a different story. Forty students with different characteristics and they were totally AWESOME. I mean, from the good kid to the naughtiest students were there. The hyperactive, the silent one, the high and the low achiever were all there.
I still remember Zidan, the so-much-active boy, and his hobby was trying hard to get our attention. And he was also so naughty, in a fun way. There is also Riyadhoh, the cool student, and always actively participate in every lesson stuffs. And um... Ajeng, yes, the students leader, who was also so cooperative with us.
And other students, all of them were so amazingly amazing. They really helped us in accomplishing this assignment.
Yes, to exagerate, this project really spent almost a half of our life, hahaha. We missed some other courses in college becauce of this project. So just lets see the result later, what grade that the lecturer will give to us. Nevertheless, regardless of the unhappy things, I am so grateful to know the kids :D
